A very elegant man, walks in at twelve o’clock sharp. He blows the frost off his loden coat, and sits down at one of the dark wooden tables. He looks through the menu, and orders a Giusto, together with a strong red Irish beer. He’s our first client, what an endless moment! After just one bite, the elegant man picks his head up , and in a completely silent room, says: “Keep on preparing   your sandwiches in this way, and you will make a fortune!

All the venturesome, imaginative, fast, fashionable and chic people, had finally found their place. And it will remain this way forever.

In its over 30 years of history, Panino Giusto has grown with gentleness and constancy, without any rush, without betraying its identity. Like a good dough in a oven, that’s just at the right temperature.

Born in Milan during the economic boom years, it has always been a place of dare and cuddling. Already in 1979 a delicious wild Canadian salmon sandwich used to cost 1500 lire, while all the other bars in the fashionable Garibaldi area, did not dare go over the psychological barrier of 300 lire. But their customers, entrepreneurs, students and creatives which used to crowd the small rooms of that first delightful corner, were able to appreciate, right after the first bite, the care, the desire and research that those two crunchy pieces of bread enclosed.

Thirty years later, our world is still the same. We have opened other restaurants in Spain, Turkey, Japan, in the main airports of Lombardia and in the fashionable Porto Cervo. Wherever we are the answer has always been a long appreciating “wow!”. And we will grow even more. But we will always remain our same old selves.
