Origin: Pacific Ocean – Alaska
We are in Alaska, a huge territory, great part of it still pure and uncontaminated. Here magnificent glaciers, alternate with fluvial forests, huge mountains, rough rivers and lakes. The wild Alaskan salmon, is a fish that continuously moves up and down the rivers and seas. It feeds on what its territory makes available for him, influenced only by the forces of nature. Its athletic muscled body, very lean, with almost no fat, is very rich in Omega 3 fatty acids, that are so good for us and for our well-being.
The difference between a wild Alaskan Salmon (Oncorhinchus) and the Atlantic salmon (Salmon Salar), mostly hatchery-bred, can be easily tasted. The wild Pacific salmon includes 5 different species: the Red King, the Coho, the Sockeye, the Pink and the Chun. They differentiate themselves from the Atlantic one, for their leaner meat, greater consistency, and stronger sea-taste. It ‘s a natural and healthy food, that has never been treated with antibiotics and hormones.
